Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and be proficient in the use of various power and hand tools. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to fabricate and assemble components from sheet metal. The Welder will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products through precise welding practices.

Duties

• Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including stick welding, to assemble metal components.
• Fabricate parts from sheet metal according to specifications and drawings.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Conduct inspections of welds to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Assemble components as per engineering specifications, ensuring accuracy and precision.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Experience

• Proven experience in welding, particularly with stick welding techniques.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment is advantageous but not essential.
