Labour Tech Recruitment was founded in Cambridgeshire by people who'd worked in industry and understood what was missing from the recruitment market: honesty, speed, and genuine knowledge of the roles being filled.
Our story
We started Labour Tech because we'd seen too many businesses let down by agencies that didn't understand their operations and too many candidates placed in roles that weren't right for them. We wanted to do it differently.
From our base in Cambridgeshire, we've grown steadily by doing the basics well: listening carefully, being honest about what we can and can't do, and following through. We supply businesses across East Anglia, the East Midlands and now into Yorkshire, placing people in industrial, warehousing, logistics, and engineering roles at every level.
We're not the biggest agency in the UK. We don't want to be. We'd rather be the most trusted one.
What we stand for
Honesty
We tell clients and candidates the truth even when it's not what they want to hear. We'd rather lose a placement than damage a relationship.
Speed
We know that a vacancy costs money and a job search costs time. We move quickly without cutting corners.
Knowledge
Our consultants have worked in or around the sectors they recruit for. We understand the work, not just the job titles.
Long-term thinking
We measure success by how placements work out six months later not just whether we filled the role.
