About Us
Recruitment with purpose, people at the heart
Labour Tech Recruitment is an independent agency specialising in industrial, technical, and office recruitment across East Anglia, the Midlands, and Yorkshire.
Our story
Founded with a clear mission — to connect skilled workers with employers who value them — Labour Tech Recruitment has grown from a single office in Ely into a multi-region agency trusted by hundreds of businesses.
We believe recruitment should be straightforward, honest, and built on real relationships. That means taking the time to understand what our clients actually need, and what our candidates genuinely want from their careers.

The people behind your placement
Owner
Kurtis Mpundu
Kurtis has worked in recruitment for over a decade. He held shares in Labour-Tech for five years before buying the business outright in 2026. He knows the industry inside out and is committed to finding the right people for the right roles. Away from work, if you want to talk boxing, Muay Thai or UFC, Kurtis is your man. He watches every week without fail, gets to live events whenever he can, and has even stepped into the ring himself for charity boxing events. He's also a proud supporter of Nottingham Forest, up those trees! 🌳⚽
Senior Recruitment Consultant
Sigita Urboniene
Sigita has been part of the Labour-Tech team since 2015 and has worked with every client the business has ever partnered with. She leads our resourcing and specialises in warehousing and manufacturing. With over a decade of experience, she knows exactly what our clients need and how to find the right people to deliver it. In her spare time, you'll find Sigita swimming in lakes and making the most of the great outdoors. 🏞️🏊♀️

Recruitment Consultant
Inês Andrade-Saxby
Ines joined Labour-Tech in 2024 and has been absolutely flying ever since. She's a key part of our resourcing team and recruits across warehousing and manufacturing. She's also turned her hand to technical roles, so no brief is too varied for her. If you're after a great restaurant recommendation, Ines is your woman. She's picked the destinations of our company Christmas meals and hasn't let us down once! 🍽️🎄
Senior Recruitment Consultant
Tim Skull
Tim joined Labour-Tech in 2026 and brings over a decade of recruitment experience across logistics, manufacturing and technical hiring. He is passionate about helping people find careers they love.
Recruitment Consultant
Fabio Santo
Fabio joined Labour-Tech in summer 2026 in his first recruitment role. He brings years of hands-on experience from the HVAC industry, which he's now putting to work supporting our engineering and technical division. He knows the trade, speaks the language, and understands exactly what clients and candidates in the sector are looking for. Away from work, Fabio is a big fan of American sports, especially basketball and the Golden State Warriors. He admits the glory years are probably behind them, but he's still holding out hope for a Steph Curry and Klay Thompson duo regen! 🏀
